SENSOCEL® powders are ultra-fine powders based on a natural pure cellulose polymer, gained during a particularly gentle manufacturing process from different plants like beech, bamboo, wheat and oat. Because of their high binding capacity for oil and water SENSOCEL® powders are able to create a dry and powdery skin feel with excellent matting properties. SENSOCEL® powders are 100 % biodegradable under fresh water conditions (according to ISO 14851). SENSOCEL® powders are natural, plant based cosmetic ingredients and harmless for humans and nature.

    • SENSOCEL® powders are applied for sensory optimisation in cosmetic formulations and lead to a quick absorption of emulsions on the skin as well as an improved spreadability. The high water- and oil-binding capacity enables the reduction of stickiness on the skin as well as a high mattifying effect. The ultra-fine cellulose particles set into the wrinkles and lead to a soft-focus effect.

    SENSOCEL® powders are available in different particle sizes. As of their insolubility in oil and water the plant fibres can be dispersed at any formulating phase regardless of the temperature or pH value. Based on their high functionality SENSOCEL® powders are suitable for a wide range of formulations (emulsions, gels, powders, etc.)
