Your Responsibilities
- Actively contributing to ongoing system optimization and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Ensuring seamless application operations and acting as a contact point in case of disruptions as part of an expert team
- Leading the implementation, optimization, and expansion of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Administering databases and applications in IT-supported logistics
- Central administration of IT hardware in the logistics sector
- Implementing and managing standard reports and ad-hoc queries
- Participating in warehouse and logistics projects
- Creating and maintaining system documentation
- Contributing to and supporting 1st & 2nd level support (recording, documenting, categorizing, and prioritizing tickets)
- Managing and maintaining hardware
- Documenting, maintaining, and servicing existing network infrastructure
What We Are Looking For
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT specialist training or logistics training with strong IT affinity)
- Experience in database administration – particularly with MSSQL
- Ideally, familiarity with Viastore Systems programs
- Knowledge of Citrix infrastructure, network technology, and network infrastructures
- Strong communication skills, especially in professional exchanges
- Project management experience and a strong affinity for technical processes/systems
- Fluent German and excellent written and spoken English
- Willingness to work in a global IT organization
- Structured, analytical, and independent working style
- Willingness to travel – training will primarily take place at the headquarters
